While writing my story, it appears that Valentine's Day passed me by. That's really to bad because SWAT says I'm such a sweetheart. I'm aiming for the next big holiday, thinking maybe if you have the day off, you might just want to come meet me. Happy President's Day; I'm Bambam and here's my story. They call me a "stray," not true. I had a family but they didn't have a lot of time for a puppy. I guess they decided I'd be better off dumped on the side of the road so they bought me a new orange collar and we went for a ride. Luckily, I found a house that let me sleep on the porch with a heat lamp during the coldest nights. When SWAT had an opening, I came to live with my new Foster! I had to prove to them that I was already house trained; they dragged me out in all kinds of weather and told me to "go potty." Seriously folks, there's only so much pottying I can do! Anyway, since I've had no accidents, they trust me now. They leave me alone with the other dogs and cat and sometimes disappear for an hour or two. It's all good; they say I have great indoor manners. I'm just trying to be on my very best behavior so I can find my Forever. I've learned to sit, stay and shake. I'm not too good at walking on a leash...YET but I'll get there. I'm super smart. I come when called and don't run off so my foster mom hasn't been to quick to teach me the whole leash thing. I am still just a puppy, about 8 months old. I've only done one puppy thing since I've been here, got in trouble and my feelings stayed hurt until foster mom apologized. Haha...remember, I said I was smart I am a GSD mix, about 40 lbs. I have some growing to do but I'm not going to be a BIG dog but I'm anything but average. I've already been to the vet so I'm ready to go home. SWAT told me to tell you, I love kids and other dogs and I would like one or the other in my new home. They will help keep me busy.
