You are about to meet me, Fanci. I love that name because I've been called so many other things, not quite so endearing. People can be seriously un-fun. I was found in Salina, brought to the SWAT Shop and I noticed my finder sneaking out the door. It was looking like this was going to be my life for awhile. Understandable, I was a little miffed. I didn't know these people, didn't like these people and kept thinking of the fun I could have if one was dumb enough to try to pet me-no one did. I hung out in a room, by myself for a few days. There were lots of toys and decent food but I was bored so I played nice with the human when they came it to clean up and feed me. Yes, I had room service! I rubbed on their legs, made that weird sound that cats make, and I smiled...not the "come closer so I can eat you" smile but a real, let's be friends kind of smile. It worked, the door opened and I got out. New things to explore, new thing to tip over and throw on the floor. Life was good...but STILL I'm bored. One of my favorite things to do is rub, purr, play nice. I let them pick me up, love on me and when I feel the fear seep out of them, I go into attack mode. I've learned a lot of new human words, none of which I can repeat here. I have been to the vet, had a nice nap and now I'm ready to go home. I wouldn't mind being a barn cat at all...I will follow you all over the yard, catch critters, and be a good farm hand. SWAT told me to mention that my adoption fee is only $10.
