'Bout time I get a turn at the keys. The humans around here call me lovable, gentle, sweet, soft and snuggly. They also call me Fern. I showed up on someone's doorstep one day and was extremely grateful for the bite of food they gave me. Then they called SWAT and SWAT said, "come on down, we have a foster." So, here I am. They all thought I was a 5 month old kitten at first glance because of my size. I'm not a kitten. I'm a wise, old soul, probably 10-12 years old. I only wei gh 4lbs when wet. I get along with literally EVERYONE. The dogs don't scare me, the other cat here, Kiwi, is a nut but I like her. The litterbox...well, that's where it gets tricky. I don't like it. The humans have tried to train me to use it, but that isn't happening. Sometimes I make it to the box, but most of the time I aim just inches away from it. So, my new home and family needs to be pretty special. I love to be outside but I absolutely love being with my humans. I follow them around in the yard and when they're done out there, I follow them into the house. I do move pretty slowly so my new home needs to be a safe one; one where I can go outside to do my business without fear of being chased because, let's face it, I won't run. I'll do a nose "boop" and try to make friends. Besides the litterbox issue, I'm seriously the best cat around.
