We would like to introduce you to this little, hot mess. This is Galaxy. She and her sister arrived over the weekend after hanging out on the side of a road in the cold, wet weather. The first thing we discovered about Galaxy was, she hates baths. She has had two since arriving on Saturday. One happened at 7 this morning. She was the first one to fly, literally, out the door to go outside this morning. She immediately found a puddle of water, which she cautiously avoided at first, but then she jumped to catch up with her sister. Splash! Galaxy is a fun little girl and, again, a hot mess. She lets you know she doesn't want a certain treat by knocking it out of your hand with her giant paw. Galaxy would rather play with the cat toys rather than her own toys. That's okay, good thing Einstein is a good sport. Keeping the tiny ball with the bell inside away from her sister is her favorite game. After all is said and done, she melts away in our arms for a snooze. We believe Galaxy and her sister are 12-14 week old Lab/Hound mixes. It's really hard to tell at this point. Galaxy did find her "howl" yesterday so there might be some hound in there somewhere. Galaxy is currently accepting applications for adoption and will be ready to go home this Saturday, April 7th.
