Hey, hey! Time to take over as Pet of the Week. Around here, I'm called Zigler. I am incredibly sweet...on my time. In my defense, I'm a cat. Independence is my middle name. How did I get here, you wonder? Well, I was cat napped. Literally. You see, I was minding my own business when I wandered up to someone's porch and a nice lady gave me food. Well, I wasn't about to turn that down so I ate. I came back later and there was more food. It was wonderful so I hung around on that same porch for a couple of weeks. The lady called SWAT, not knowing what else to do with me. I wanted in the house because it was so cold outside, but was told no many times. So, one evening, after dark, I was sitting on the porch when a car parked in the driveway. A lady got out with a plastic box in her arms and walked to the porch. She put the (what I later realized) kennel down on the ground with the door open and coaxed me over. I was a little apprehensive, but I walked over to her and let her pet me. I was curious of the smell inside of the kennel so I gingerly walked inside of it, sniffing as I went. And then the unthinkable happened. She shut the kennel door with me inside! Oh, that was war. I threw myself from side to side, screamed "stranger danger," and hissed. I screamed the entire way to the SWAT Shop. The crazy lady carried me and my plastic dungeon inside of the building and then she set me free inside of my "room." I wasn't please, but at least it had food, a bed and warmth. That happened two weeks ago. I'm still here. No one has come forward to claim me. I'm already neutered and I haven't missed any meals. I belong to someone, but they forgot about me, I guess. SWAT says I'm about 3 years old. I shouldn't be in a home with dogs because I scare the you know what right out of them. I'm not a fan. I'm not sure about other cats because I'm the only one here. I do love to be petted when I want the attention. I would love a kitty door to the outside, if you have one. I would also appreciate a couch and a window to look out of when I don't want to be outside. I think I could make a fabulous loaf of bread too because I'm a great kneader.
